3rd CFE Scholarship Awards Ceremony
15th September 2022
We had the pleasure and the honour of awarding this year's CFE Scholarship to two exceptional Spanish students at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics, as follows:
- Club Financiero Español, City of London - London School of Economics PhD Scholarship
4-year scholarship
awarded to Marta Guasch Rusiñol.
- Club Financiero Español Cambridge Scholarship
1-year extension / 4-year scholarship
awarded to Maria del Mar Domenech Palacios.
The ceremony took place at the Spanish Ambassador's Residence in Belgrave Square, London, on Thursday, the 15th of September 2022
His Excellency the Ambassador of Spain to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and don Rodrigo Rodriguez and don Francisco Moreno as representatives of the Board of Trustees of Club Financiero Español, together with several other Fellows of the Club, the Scholars, family and friends, and representatives of the London School of Economics attended the event.
The evening continued with a reception at the residency of His Excellency, into the late hours.

CFE FUNDRAISING SUMMER PARTY | Summer Party & Charity Fund Raising Event Club Financiero Español continued with its tradition of celebrating the CFE’s events at the most famous London member clubs, this year the venue will be at the Oriental Club, one of London’s most prestigious Club's. This is indeed the Club where Club Financiero Español was established a few years back. Club Financiero Español Christmas Dinner | Once again the Trustees and Fellows of Club Financiero Español would like to thank you all the attendants for their generous contributions to the Advanced Education Trust Scholarship Endowment. All proceeds of the evening were dedicated to support CFE's Scholarship Endowment with the Advanced Education Trust; our registered UK Charity. This year the Club booked in exclusivity Hispania facilities at the heart of the City of London. The evening celebrations began at 19:30 with a champagne reception, followed by a sit-down dinner by the outstanding chefs of Hispania, until the early hours of Sunday morning. Javier Santiso is the author of “España 3.0” (Ed. Planeta, 2015), serial investor in startups / venture capital and founder of Club Mundi. Charity Fund Raising Summer Ball 2016 | BY INVITATION ONLY Dear CFE fellows and friends, We are pleased to confirm the details of the upcoming Summer Ball. Continuing with our tradition of celebrating the CFE’s events at member clubs, this year the venue will be one of London’s most prestigious, the In & Out. Rodrigo Rodriguez, our fellow and member of the board of Trustees, will kindly be our host at the club. The evening’s festivities will open with a reception in the Club’s courtyard, followed by a standing dinner. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, so please do extend the invitation to other friends. All profits from the Summer Ball will be fully allocated to the CFE Scholarships Fund.
